AMUCK to Hold First-Ever Sisters Conference In Nairobi.

  [caption id="attachment_2576" align="aligncenter" width="1080"] The Association of Muslims in  Universities & Colleges in Kenya(AMUCK).[/caption] By Urban Shihemi, May 11, 2025  May The  Association of Muslims in  Universities & Colleges in Kenya (AMUCK) will host its first-ever Sisters Conference next week on Saturday 17th May 2025,  at the Adams Mosque along Ngong Road, Nairobi. The event, themed “Radiating Faith: The Role of Women in the Muslim Community,” aims to bring together Muslim sisters from various universities and colleges across the country for a day of spiritual enrichment, empowerment, and sisterhood. Scheduled to run from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the conference will feature a series of talks, panel discussions, and interactive sessions led by prominent female scholars, mentors, and community leaders. According to Amuck,the event will focus on exploring the spiritual, social, and leadership roles of Muslim women in contemporary society. “This is a platform for young Muslim women to connect, grow in their faith, and reflect on their contributions within the ummah and the broader society,” read the official statement from Amuck. “We are proud to finally bring this vision to life.” The event is open to all Muslim sisters and students, with an entry fee of KSh 100 to cater for logistics and refreshments. Amuck are planning to have the conference as an annual event and serve as a catalyst for more inclusive and faith-driven engagements among young Muslim women in Kenya.
