The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has officially opened its latest placement application window to Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) for the March 2026 intake. The application period will run from January 7 to January 27, 2026.
In a statement released by KUCCPS, the agency invited qualified applicants to submit their course choices through the official KUCCPS student portal, emphasizing that the process is strictly online and free from intermediaries.
KUCCPS has advised applicants to adhere strictly to the stipulated application timelines, warning that late submissions will not be considered once the portal closes. Candidates are required to meet the minimum academic qualifications for their selected courses as outlined in the placement guidelines.
The service further encouraged applicants to carefully review programme requirements, cluster subjects, and available institutions before making their selections to avoid errors that could affect placement outcomes.
KUCCPS cautioned applicants against falling victim to fraudsters posing as placement agents. The agency reiterated that all official communication and applications should only be conducted through the KUCCPS website and verified channels.
“KUCCPS does not charge any fees for placement services, and applicants should report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities,” the statement read.
The placement exercise forms part of the government’s broader effort to expand access to higher education and skills training, particularly in critical sectors such as healthcare, technology, and technical education.
KUCCPS urges students and guardians to take advantage of the opportunity and complete their applications within the set timeframe to secure placement in their preferred institutions.
